I recently stayed at Chateau Du Payre for a romantic break and it was absolutely perfect. The location in the wine-growing area is stunning, with beautiful views of the vineyards. The owners, who also run a winery, were incredibly welcoming and provided great recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing. The room was spacious and tastefully decorated with antique-style furniture. The bed was comfortable and I loved having the option to choose from two different types of pillows. The room was also equipped with external shutters, ensuring a peaceful and uninterrupted night's sleep. The owners even offered to show me around the vineyard and do a wine tasting, although unfortunately, I didn't have time to take them up on the offer. it was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend this hotel.
